I am trying to get back to my art and slowly tip-toeing around my Cintiq. The main reason I have not done much with it is because I have no workspace for the 20 inch monitor anymore. When I bought it I had a desk custom made by a friend specially for it. Couple months later I had to make room for a baby crib
I set up my Cintiq every now and again when I have time, but literally just sit there intimidated by it. I try to paint something with it but despite all my efforts it never comes out right. I have much to learn about digital painting with photoshop and every step necessary to achieve the look I want. What brushes to use and what should be layered are where I get stuck. I know I should just relax and just draw something out. But when it comes to coloring and layering I fail and quit.
As you will notice most of my submission are traditional works because its what I'm most comfortable with. I know how to use pretty much any traditional media but I lack the inspiration to create new works right now. I am very critical on myself and what is "good enough to post". And also I think this failure with my Cintiq is greatly discouraging me to try.
But thanks to all you other Deviants I do gain some inspiration. I try to search traditional works and get a sense of "I can totally create something beautiful like that"
Well anyway, thanks for reading! And I will try to dish up some new stuff soon.

Yes, you do have a soul. And it tastes like butterscotch pudding.

I have nothing to say about it besides it looks cool and I like trees. Didn't want to leave such a short comment.
To me, adding favs helps spread the artist's work for more to view. Comments are just a plus. But thats just my opinion.
